Welcome to the May sportsbook edition. Methodology held steady from April: a $50 CAD-equivalent deposit at each operator, the welcome offer claimed and a representative wager placed (pre-match or in-play, depending on what the book steered us toward), a live cash-out timed end-to-end, and a fresh re-read of the bonus T&Cs against actual enforcement. Fifteen books in rotation. All tested inside the past seven days.

What moved. Ozoon kept #1 — their live-betting depth and consistent same-day USDT payouts haven't slipped. Cryptorino made a strong debut at #2 after passing our deposit-and-cash-out test cleanly twice in a row; the anonymous-play angle resonates, but it's the speed that earned the spot. BetOnline slipped two places to #12 after their CFL lines tightened too aggressively for our community's liking — useful for sharps, harsh on recreational tickets. Tonybet held mid-table on the strength of NHL puck lines, even though their welcome bonus is small.

Community signal was loud. The 2026 crypto sportsbooks thread is, frankly, where most of these rankings get pressure-tested. The KYC-free thread shaped how we scored BetPanda and Jackbit. And the CFL betting thread is what pushed BetOnline's reweight before we did it ourselves.

Next sweep posts on or around 1 June, with NHL playoff payouts factored in. If a book has stiffed you, blocked your account mid-cash-out, or moved a line in bad faith — post timestamps below.

CLV is the only number that matters and the BetOnline drop tracks. Their CFL openers were posted soft for the first two weeks of May then tightened by 1.5 to 2 points before kickoff — which is fine if you're a sharp picking off the move, brutal if you're a casual who clicks at noon Friday. Last month's editorial gave them a soft warning on this and they did not listen. Ozoon at #1 is correct on price and on limits both.

Cryptorino at #2 is brave but I'd back it. Their NHL puck lines were within a tick of Pinnacle on five of the seven first-round playoff games I tracked, which is more than the rest of the field except Tonybet. Watch the matchup, not the logo. If they hold the second deposit-and-cash-out cycle Arjun mentioned, I'd float them to #1 — though I think we all know it's Ozoon's spot to lose.

Als by a field goal — and BetOnline's CFL line move is exactly what I've been bleeding about all season. They opened the Als/Argos at -3.5 and closed -2 inside 36 hours. Trois points, l'écart est trois points; not anymore. Tonybet has been hilariously slow to react to CFL early-season moves, which is a feature if you're chasing stale numbers. Glad the editorial actually weighted the CFL board this month instead of pretending it doesn't exist between June and November.

Wishing the UFC props had more weight in the ranking. BetUS at #15 is generous given their round-totals depth versus the rest of the table — the only reason they're not top-five for me is their welcome offer is harder to clear than a five-round main event. The weight cut is the line. Last month's April editorial was the first time I saw method-of-victory props mentioned at all in the methodology recap and I'd like more of that, please. The casino-bias in the scoring is a known issue.

Skeptical note on Cryptorino's debut — two clean cash-outs is exactly enough data to be excited and not enough to be confident. The prop is wrong, not the player; I'd say the same of the rank. Their NBA player-prop board is light, with maybe forty percent of the alt-lines I'd expect from a top-five book. BetOnline dropping is fair on CFL but their NBA props are still the deepest in the table, which the ranking doesn't really credit.
