Spinning slots from a combine cab — anyone else lose 4G mid-spin?

Manitoba grain farmer here. Seeding season is on and the LTE in this cab is normally fine — better than the kitchen table half the time, actually. But the last three days I've lost signal mid-spin twice, and both times the spin completed on the server and I had no idea what happened until I reconnected and saw the balance change.

One was a $2 spin that turned into a $14 win I didn't see hit. Other was a $1.50 spin that lost without me ever seeing the reels stop. Disorienting either way. Anyone else play from the field, the cab of a truck, or anywhere with iffy rural signal? How do you handle the dropped-connection spins?

Spun it from a combine. Could be worse.

Saskatchewan, same situation in late August. LTE on the John Deere Pro is normally great but the second I get into the river-bottom acres it drops to one bar and any session in progress just hangs. I gave up on slots out there entirely — I'll do one or two spins between rounds at home and that's about it.

The dropped spins do clear on the server side correctly, which is reassuring. Your $14 win is real even if you didn't see it.

Sent from chair 7. Whistler's wifi is its own breed of bad — half the operators won't even load the live dealer streams up here. I've taken to playing slots in airplane-mode-then-reconnect mode: spin, see the result, reconnect, spin again. Slow but I always know what's happening.

Funny that the cab of a combine in Manitoba probably has better signal than chair 7 in Banff.

I'm Calgary so I never have this problem but my brother farms outside Vulcan and he's described exactly the same thing. Mid-spin drops, reconnects show the result already settled. The way these games are built (server-authoritative, client just an animation layer) means the result lands whether you see it or not. Good for fairness, bad for vibes.

Bet smart from the field, b'y.

From Newfoundland chiming in — different climate, same connectivity. There are corners of this rock where my LTE just gives up, mid-Tim Hortons drive-thru sometimes. I've stopped playing while moving. It's safer for the bank account if nothing else. Still figuring it out, b'y.

Appreciate you all chiming in. Going to download the operator's PWA and see if their offline-tolerant version handles the dropped spins more gracefully. If not I'll just save the slots for evenings on the porch where the wifi is reliable. Spun it from the combine still works as a brand, just not as a strategy. Could be worse — wife's just glad I'm in the cab and not at the kitchen table.
